ZJZ Hospitality President Deven Bhakta got down and dirty today at the groundbreaking ceremony for the multi-purpose complex under development in Alice. The ceremony drew throngs of people, from local denizens to state and national politicos. Bhakta was one of an elite crowd given a shovel and a star-spangled hard-hat. Truly a proud moment for ZJZ Hospitality…. Too bad he didn’t get to keep the hard-hat!

Mayor Pro Tempore Dorella Elizondo, Councilwoman Yvett Johnson and several residents also gave impassioned appeals for the future of the city and the untold benefits that adding these resources will present to the children and future generations as well as visitors to Alice.
